Gura Gear at the Olympics

Sterling Lorence just grabbed a few quick photos of he and his trusty Kiboko bag at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. Sterling is a freelance photographer who is based in Vancouver, B.C. and has some amazing sports photographis on his web site. Be sure to check out his gallery photos on his web site.

Sterling recently took delivery of his bag, and he wrote back to us:

I’m liking the bag so far…love how light it is and am impressed at the quality of construction. I have my full collection of canon bodies and lenses in there with room to spare.  I’m about to put it through the paces of 16 straight work days here at the 2010 winter olympics here in Vancouver BC.

David duChemin, his Kiboko bag, and an CRJ 700 aircraft

Our friend David duChemin recently took a photo of his Gura Gear Kiboko bag in the overhead of a regional jet, a Bombardier CRJ 700. We are seeing more and more regional jets in the skies, and we have developed the Kiboko bag to be sensitive to these types of aircraft. There are some models, like the ERJ 145, that have very very very small overhead compartments, and no camera bag on the market that is larger than a very small laptop sleeve can fit inside.

Here is a quick photo of David’s Kiboko bag in the overhead:

See? All fits perfectly. :-)

David DuChemin and his Kiboko bag

Our friend David DuChemin over at Pixelated Image posted an image of he and his Gura Gear Kiboko bag on his blog. He wrote up a great mini review of the Elinchrom Quadra entitled “Big Love for Small Light”, but we like the actual image taken of David and our Kiboko bag.
